January 2008
With all these New Year wishes, we (and the phone carriers) may get a little backed up! Happy 2008 to all!
I wrote a long post about what I learned in 2007: http://tinyurl.com/2bu3c3
Actually now that I’ve been over at Vator.tv I see that’s Bambi’s thing. Thanks @dsl It’s not competitive with what I’m doing.
I’d love to meet up with you Arnold: best place to see me at CES is here in the evening: http://upcoming.yahoo.com/event/225589/
How to be a dedicated father? @vincente asks. Milan is going with us to CES and probably Davos. That’s how!
Oh, and @dsl , lots of surprises to come in January starting at CES.
Starting with the World Economic Forum in Davos.
Yes @dsl I’m going to do even more content creation in 2008.
sorry for the scobleStorm @javadog. http://tinyurl.com/yvec5e has more on PodTech and my future.
PodTech has some runway and it’ll be interesting to see what they do with it.
I’ll let the new management at PodTech speak for what they are going to do, though.
podtech, @hgilchrist asked, will turn into an advertising/advertorial production house and maybe more.
I haven’t watched vator.tv @dsl asked. I’ll go check it out.
Raines: yeah, I plan to make MacCamp — my Upcoming.org page has tons of MacWorld events.
And Microsoft is paying attention to podcasts with Zune — Rob Greenlee is working at Microsoft now. That alone will bring attention to …
Not to mention, Apple has sold a crapload of iPhones and those are all good places to listen to podcasts.
And with Utterz and Rondee and other audio services bringing new features, podcasting will get hyped up again.
If you think about it, more people spend time in their cars or exercising, two places only podcasting can reach.
Why will podcasts come back? Because they really never got unpopular. My friends who do them say their traffic is up.
I haven’t left PodTech yet, @dsl. My last day is January 14th. We’ll have an announcement on the 16th.
Anyone here going to MacWorld? Join us at this: http://upcoming.yahoo.com/event/393503/
I’d love to come on Tech Podcast Network. Let’s talk offline.
December 2007
serendipity? fiat sent me a lovely new fiat 500 brochure in today’s post - new year resolution prompt maybe, eh? cool timing, lol …
we don’t ‘celebrate’ the ushering in of the new year; more a time for quiet reflection and thinking of others - best wishes for 2008, all
Akula: good point about Seth Godin.
1389 yeah, I put a story about the new lithium battery rules on my link blog. Thanks!
So does Jason Calacanis.
…I want followers. The real power of Twitter is in FOLLOWING, not being followed. Guy Kawasaki needs to learn that.
rom: and I’m following you! Heheh. Got any signal?
Oh, and @sleepydad I CERTAINLY wouldn’t be watching Chris Pirillo tonight. Heheh!
AndruEdwards posted a video showing off new iPhone update coming soon
Got iPhone? You should follow @AndruEdwards
There is no way to know for sure @tonythomson whether or not I’m a robot.
Sorry, the Pirillo link is: http://chris.pirillo.com/live/ he was dancing a few minutes ago.
Chris Pirillo is currently doing a video that will be #1 on YouTube in a week.
Watching Chris Pirillo be subservient for money. http://live.pirillow.com
I find it interesting to see posts like @dsilverman griping about my noisyness. Why not just unsubscribe quietly?
Yeah @chrisdunlap the Fish Market is the best!
Yes, @misc, I do follow all Tweets WHEN I’m on my computers. If I’m offline, obviously not.
ShelIsrael: good point.
JanKarlsbjerg: that’s not how you unsubscribe.
I’m broadcasting live on http://www.qik.com/scobleizer so you can talk with me there about the “@” issue and see what Twitter looks like.
div_conspiracy: it’s a free country. You assume I need 7,000 followers. I don’t.
saleemkhan: I’ll tell you what. When I want only a certain group to see my Tweets, I’ll add the @ back, or I’ll direct Tweet you.
AnthonyBaker: and if I reply to them all cause I want to have a conversation, then that causes a ton of noise for you.
AnthonyBaker: see, this is a problem with how we all experience Twitter. I get one message every TWO seconds!!!
div_conspiracy: most people don’t change the defaults like you did.
slobokan: when I use @ sign I want everyone to see it, not just recipient. That’s what “D” is for.
Wolfbyte: so, if I do this: @Wolfbyte everyone will see it?
